Medical Oncologist Qiang Nai, MD, PhD, MPH has joined the Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
“It’s great to welcome Dr. Nai to our team,” said Lindsay Rockwell, DO, medical director of the Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
“Dr. Nai brings his strong sense of compassion, kindness and collaboration to our team. His skills as a general oncologist who treats GI, prostate, lung, and breast cancers, as well as benign hematology, nicely complement the other oncologists on our team.
“We are very excited to welcome our new colleague!”
Dr. Nai says he already feels at home in the Pioneer Valley. “I really enjoy being outside, and I especially like the New England seasons.”
He grew up playing soccer in China and continued playing through college and during the time he was an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee. When he is not working, Dr. Nai enjoys hiking, and jogs most days. On weekends, he enjoys long-distance running, depending on his schedule.

Dr. Nai comes to Cooley Dickinson from the University of Toledo Medical Center where he worked as a medical oncology fellow. He earned advanced degrees in public health (China’s Beijing Medical University) and PhD in neuroscience (University of Toledo).
