INSIDE STORY: HD Surgery Videos presents Laparoscopic Appendectomy

Cooley Dickinson General Surgical Care releases the latest in its new educational video series, INSIDE STORY. In the latest video, viewers can see a laparoscopic appendectomy – the most common general surgery performed in the U.S.

The series, which demonstrates common surgical procedures through narrated HD videos taken directly from internal surgical cameras, debuted in September. The videos are intended to educate prospective patients, students and anyone else who is curious about how these procedures are done. They contain graphic medical content, so anyone uncomfortable viewing images of surgery is advised not to view them.

Surgical procedures featured in INSIDE STORY are performed by Dr. Michelle Helms of Cooley Dickinson General Surgical Care, and the videos are narrated by Nurse-Anesthetist John Noviello.
