The Springfield College Physician Assistant program Class of 2020 has selected Cooley Dickinson Hospital Inpatient Medicine as the College’s Outstanding Clinical Site.

Each year, the college selects “individuals who have provided significant contributions to the education of our students,” wrote Springfield College Clinical Education Director Andrew Baginski, MSEd, MSH, PA-C, in an email to Jamie Moore, PA, Cooley Dickinson’s clinical liaison with the college and a 2007 graduate of the College.

Moore says that being a preceptor location is “an amazing opportunity to give back to the college that provided me with the skills and knowledge to become a successful Physician Assistant.” Moore, pictured at left, was honored with the Springfield College Outstanding Preceptor of the Year award in 2019 and also lectures as part of their Physician Assistant program.

Within the past year, 10 students have precepted at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Jamie looks forward welcoming a new group of students in the future. Congratulations, Jamie Moore and the Cooley Dickinson Hospitalist team for providing a meaningful experience for future clinicians.
