You Make a Difference Award: April 2022
Congratulations to Jacqueline Howard, CDMG Finance Director, on being honored as the April recipient of the You Make a Difference Award!
Whether it’s budget preparation, contracts/compensation or other special projects, what’s most appreciated from Jackie (in addition to the high quality of her work) is her collaboration.
She is always easy to approach, and easy to work with; conversations are always constructive and forward- moving.
During the award celebration last week, VP of CDMG Kevin Neill expressed his congratulations and stated that “we are so incredibly fortunate to have Jackie on our team!”
“The volume of work that Jackie does in support of the medical group is significant and she keeps everything impeccably organized, thoroughly vetted, and completed on time,” said Kevin.
Jackie’s daily work in support of CDMG alone earned her nomination of You Make a Difference Award recognition. But what shines more light on her performance is a recent ambulatory space analysis she did in support of our organizational strategic planning process. CDMG is constantly growing and evolving, and in order to effectively manage our growth, we needed to have a comprehensive space plan to inform decision making about where to place new providers and to determine if we needed new space.
Jackie toured all of our ambulatory sites, spoke with leadership at the sites and did a comprehensive analysis. Through her work, we were able to see opportunities at virtually all of our sites to optimize space use. Jackie created an algorithm to help teams see where we had opportunity for growth in existing space. Jackie’s work allows us to make more informed recruitment decisions, based on thoughtful space planning. This project was huge, and Jackie turned it around very quickly.
Added Kevin, “She does everything very quietly and without fanfare. We appreciate all that Jackie does!”
