He co-chaired the AAMC Advisory Committee on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Sex Development, Learning Environment Committee – this committee collaboratively developed a webinar and teaching tools to accompany AAMC’s landmark publication to improve medical school curriculum called Implementing Curricular and Institutional Climate Changes to Improve Health Care for Individuals Who Are LGBT, Gender Nonconforming, or Born with DSD. He authored a chapter in Diversity and Inclusion in Quality Patient Care: Your Story/Our Story – A Case-Based Compendium, published in August 2018.
