My Philosophy
As a midwife, I aim to create a space where people of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, body sizes, and family structures feel seen, safe, and supported. The foundation of my practice is relationships, and I work hard to foster connection through warmth, humor, transparency, and mutual respect.
I practice body acceptance-based, trauma-informed care and prioritize informed choice at every stage. Whether supporting pregnancy, birth, reproductive and sexual health, or routine gynecologic care, I believe patients are the experts in their own bodies. My role is to listen deeply, share clear and up-to-date evidence, and partner with patients to design care that aligns with what matters most to them.
I have personal experience with difficult birth, prematurity, and NICU stay, and it is my particular honor to support patients when the road to parenthood is rockier than expected.
Biography
I’m originally from New York, but have happily called Western MA my home since 2014. My previous career was as a writer/editor, and I’m the unofficial practice copywriter. I live in Easthampton with my son and partner, and in my spare time I enjoy reading, lifting weights, being outdoors, and cooking. I love seeing my patients out in the world, so feel free to say hello!
