Biography
Dr. Hegarty is a native of Western Massachusetts who has practiced endocrinology in the Pioneer Valley since 1999. She has a special interest in caring for patients with diabetes, having grown up with a father who had Type 2 diabetes and experienced several life-altering complications of the disease. In addition to her role as a physician, her focus is on raising her daughter. Dr. Hegarty also enjoys knitting, hiking, and reading.
