Dr. Jac received his MD from Medical University in Wroclaw, Poland, and performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has served as an attending physician at The Methodist Hospital and Parkview Regional Hospitals & Clinics in Houston and Mexia, Texas, and currently moonlights at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Whittier Rehabilitation Hospitals and Massachusetts General Hospital’s North Shore Cancer Center. In further academic study, he completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and a Clinical Research Elective in Neuro-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine, also in Houston.
Dr. Jac brings with him a deep knowledge of clinical oncology research and pharmaceutical study. He served as Executive Director, Small Molecules at Boston’s ZIOPHARM Oncology, Inc. and as Medical Director, Clinical Research at AVEO Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Cambridge. He is currently the (home-based) Senior Medical Officer at the Wilmington, North Carolina-based Chiltern International. While still in Texas, Dr. Jac was an instructor in Clinical Medicine-Oncology for the Genitourinary Oncology Program at The Methodist Hospital.
