My Philosophy

“Over a medical career that’s spanned 22 years, I have practiced in more than 15 hospitals throughout the U.S. and Panama, the settings ranging from major cities to rainforests. During this time, I have learned from world-renowned physicians who have taught me to care for patients from all over the world, each with his or her unique perspectives on life and health.”

Dr. Miranda earned his medical degree from Universidad de Panamá, and completed an internal medicine residency and chief residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He later completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Dartmouth- Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care, Miranda is interested in new interventions and technologies in pulmonary diseases.
