My Philosophy
I believe in optimal mental wellness as the goal, not just the absence of illness. I believe that the mind, body, and environment operate as a whole and that all these factors should be understood and addressed. We all have an innate healing power and together we can work to identify the obstacles that prevent you from healing. I believe that individuality should be honored and that a person’s preferences are important factors in determining what strategies are used to help work towards healing. Biography
Kelly’s nursing career has been dedicated to providing patient-centered behavioral health care that ensures compassion, acceptance, respect, empowerment, and sincerity. She has 18 years of experience working in the field of behavioral health, and has provided care in multiple environments including inpatient hospital-based care; adult foster care, long term settings and in-home care, and is a strong advocate of reducing stigma related to mental health treatment. Kelly enjoys spending time with her pups, reading, walking outdoors, exercise, traveling and continuing her education in the field of psychiatry.
