Dr. Lansky started her career working as an assistant athletic trainer in 1990. She graduated from massage therapy school in 1993. In 2007, she graduated from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Through her work Dr. Lansky has seen thousands of people helping them to return to work, sports, and the activities they love.
Dr. Lansky works with all types of patients including survivors of multiple traumas, cancer, and car accidents. She spends time collaborating with neuropsychologists, psychologists, prosthetists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and chiropractors. Through her extensive education and treatment experience she is uniquely qualified to assemble comprehensive treatment plans for optimal healing.
In 2015, Dr. Lansky opened her own clinic in Easthampton, MA. This allows for longer appointments and shortened wait times. She spends time listening to each patient; understanding the musculoskeletal, psychological, and spiritual impact of their injury. Dr. Lansky teaches her patients that many symptoms are not a sign of further damage, but rather the body’s warning system. When the individual fears there is damage to the body, the warning system alarms earlier and earlier. By slightly provoking symptoms, through manual therapy and/or exercise, an individual can improve their tolerance and function.
Dr. Lansky is an “old fashion” doctor who believes in prescription, exercise, and sleep to help the body heal. She treats her patients with manual therapy. Dr. Lansky has a small gym where she is able to prescribe and demonstrate exercise. She has also researched how nutrition impacts healing. Patients receive individualized treatments so that they can achieve the best results.
