I believe in a team-based, compassionate and holistic patient care model that takes into account the biological, psychological, and social determinants of a patient’s mental health.
Dr. Zaghloul came to Cooley Dickinson Hospital after working at the Baystate Health System for 13 years. Before arriving at Cooley Dickinson, Dr. Zaghloul was the medical director of Baystate’s behavioral health department in the Eastern Region in Palmer, Massachusetts where he oversaw inpatient and outpatient services. In addition to being an adult, child and adolescent psychiatry clinician, he has experience in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). He continues to teach residents and fellows at the general residency and the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship programs at Baystate. He earned his M.B.A. from the UMass-Amherst Isenberg School of Management in the spring of 2021. He enjoys spending time with his family, the Red Sox and strumming the guitar.
