Stephanie has clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. She currently specializes in treating patients in the outpatient setting. She works with a variety of patients, ranging from young adults to community-dwelling elderly adults, with acute and chronic conditions. She treats patients with orthopedic injuries, pre and post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from sport injuries, and individuals with gait and balance impairments. She often incorporates patient education, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise into her treatments.

My Philosophy

Stephanie is a compassionate therapist who advocates for her patients and believes in providing high-quality care to the community. She uses evidence-based practice in order to provide effective treatments. She is eager to develop her manual therapy skills, which leads her to regularly participating in continuing education courses. She takes pride in developing professional relationships with staff, referring physicians and patients in order to effectively collaborate and provide the utmost quality of care. She believes in establishing a home exercise program in which patients can continue with their rehabilitation upon discharge from therapy. Her goal is to help patients successfully achieve their goals and optimize their physical, social, psychological and emotional well-being.

Biography

After finishing graduate school, Stephanie moved back home to New Hampshire, where she now resides. She decided to join the Cooley Dickinson organization in August of 2016. She now works as a full-time physical therapist in the Hatfield outpatient clinic. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially around the holidays. During the summer she likes to participate in outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, skydiving and zip-lining. She also has a strong desire to travel and explore different parts of the world.
