An athlete in a former life, Teingo is Certified in the Cincinnatti Sportsmetrics Jump Program, a plyometric training regimen invented to decrease the incidence of non-contact ACL injuries particularly in young female athletes. Teingo’s philosophy is a simple one: He firmly believes that Physical Therapy is a collaborative effort between patient and therapist who must work together to achieve the mutual goal of symptom resolution and return to function. Less than equal participation will often result in subpar outcomes.
Teingo West has been a Physical Therapist with Cooley Dickinson Rehabilitation Services for 9 years. He lives in Holyoke with his wife and three beautiful children. With three kids and a fourth on the way, life leaves little time for much else.
