Biography
Dr. McMillian earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs and her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. She completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, Mass.; residency at Yale New Haven Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut; and a Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgical Fellowship at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. She comes to Cooley Dickinson most recently from Holyoke Medical Center. In addition to laparoscopic and general surgery, Dr. McMillian specializes in foregut surgery, which includes conditions of the esophagus, stomach and small intestine.
