Baby & Me is a parent to parent peer support group and brainstorming session. Spend time with your baby and other parents who are also figuring it out day-to-day. The group brainstorms ideas around the day’s topic and share what has worked, while keeping in mind what hasn’t, acknowledge that faltering and stumbling is a normal part of parenting, and share each other’s joys. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10 am – noon and on Fridays from 2 – 4 pm, alternating weeks (usually the 2nd and 4th Friday but in 2020 there are exceptions in January, April, May, July, and October. On these months the Fridays will fall on weeks that there isn’t a Tuesday group).
Rotating topics may include:
- What’s in our diaper bag and why?
- Preparing for and living with a mobile baby
- Managing working and parenting
- Selfhood and identity
- Tummy time
- Information overload: how do you decide what advice to follow?
- Screen time
- Feeding our babies
Open to all parents and your babies from newborn and up, regardless of where your baby was born.
Please park in the visitor parking or use the free valet services.
