Basic Life Support (BLS) trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s BLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session.

BLSHeartcode Online must be completed prior to this skills check. HeartCode BLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge. This online portion of HeartCode BLS can be completed in approximately 1 to 2 hours. Complete it here:
This registration is for a BLS Skills Check (the second portion of training). Time to complete the hands-on skills session varies but is approximately 60 minutes. The cost of the skills check is $50

If you develop a cold or other illness before the class you must reschedule due to close physical contact with other participants. In the event, you cannot make your registered time, please call us in advance to cancel your registration and reschedule for you for another time.
