Cooley Dickinson Health Care and the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Western Massachusetts (NAMI-WM) present an event for Mental Health Awareness Month in May 2017.
Join us on May 19th for a panel discussion featuring state and federal perspectives on mental healthcare. Topics will include:
- Why parity is important
- Breaking down stigma
- What’s been accomplished with respect to mental health parity
- What’s next? Future directions? And how will changes to the Affordable Care Act impact behavioral health services?
- How should we advocate and what should we be advocating for?

Breakfast will be available at 9am, followed by welcoming remarks, introductions, and presentations by peer groups. Then the panel will discuss mental health care. There will be time for Q&A and discussion.
