If you are a patient at Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Endocrinology, our goal is to continue to take care of you during the current health care crisis while keeping you safe. While we are temporarily limiting in-person visits to those which cannot be delayed, we are available to provide telephone and virtual visits during our regular clinic hours. If you would like to arrange a telehealth appointment, please call our office at 413-586-2198 and choose option “1”.

To make a request for a telehealth appointment through Partners Patient Gateway, please send a request through the Gateway as you normally would.


We provide services for patients with a wide variety of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, Paget’s disease, metabolic bone diseases, hyperparathyroidism and hypoparathyroidism, thyroid and adrenal disease, cholesterol and lipid disorders and more.

Our team of professionals will help you manage your diabetes by giving you the skills to monitor your blood sugar and by teaching you how to reduce your symptoms through diet and exercise.

Dr. John Nicasio

Dr. John Nicasio is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of French. He has studied abroad in both Santiago, Dominican Republic and in Cairo, Egypt. In addition to his current specialization, he has also worked as a hospitalist, a pharmaceutical spokesperson and an Assistant Professor of Medicine, at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
