Welcome to Cooley Dickinson’s Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, where experienced, highly trained professionals advance the health of patients through specialized, expert treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal (bones, ligaments, muscles, tendons) problems. The practice’s holistic approach to orthopedics involves coordination of personalized services within the practice and with other providers, to ensure a comprehensive range of care to people of all ages.
Working as a team, our providers offer combined expertise in all major orthopedic specialties, including sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, hand & upper extremities, joint replacement, spine care and an orthopedics walk-in clinic. The team has worked on everyone from professional athletes to active-duty soldiers—people who give their all every day, and who deserve to be backed up by a care team who does the same.

About the Practice
Founded in 1952 as Hampshire Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, the practice is the oldest provider of orthopedic care in Hampshire County. Our Orthopedics & Sports Medicine practices offer patients the combined benefits of a trusted community health care organization and access to the world-renowned resources of Massachusetts General Hospital.
It is the continued goal of the practice to provide all patients with compassionate and effective care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. The practice’s clinicians strive to work hand-in-hand with your primary care provider, physical therapist, trainers, and local emergency departments to deliver cutting-edge, subspecialty care in two convenient Pioneer Valley locations.
