Treatments and Services

Adult Wellness

No matter your age, your optimal health and wellness are important to us. Adults’ primary care needs vary widely based on age, gender, overall health, family history, lifestyle, and other factors. As your primary care providers, we will offer personalized recommendations on:

  • Complete physical exams
  • Blood pressure and cholesterol screenings
  • Mammograms and bone density screenings
  • Colonoscopies
  • Other preventive screenings and blood work as appropriate
  • Immunizations
  • Nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle

In addition to regular wellness exams, we provide routine gynecological care for women.

Pediatric Wellness

Our relationship with many of our patients begins shortly after they’re born. Following a normal birth and through the teenage years, we see healthy children for well-child visits at these intervals:

  • 2 – 5 days after birth
  • 1 month
  • 2 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 12 months
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 2 years
  • 2 ½ years (30 months)
  • 3 years
  • Once annually, through age 18

In general, a well-child visit includes:

  • Height and weight assessment
  • Hearing and vision assessment
  • Physical examination
  • Immunizations as needed
  • Age-appropriate blood tests
  • An assessment of development, learning, and emotional and behavioral health
  • Ample time for questions and discussion of any concerns

Regular well-child visits are important to your child’s health. In addition, they are required for school, sports, camps, and many other activities.

Not a Kid Anymore: Special Considerations for Adolescents

For adolescents (ages 13-18), the well-child visit is an important opportunity to discuss medical, emotional, and social issues related to growing up. Teenagers may have concerns they are not comfortable sharing with a parent. Beginning at age 13, we offer young patients the option of having a parent wait in the waiting area during the physical exam and for private discussion with their health-care provider. We keep shared information confidential, unless doing so could jeopardize your child’s health or well-being.
