    The Cooley Dickinson Childbirth Center recently earned a Baby-Friendly designation from Baby-Friendly USA. Baby-Friendly is a designation that recognizes hospitals and birthing centers that offer an optimal level of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies.

Better Health through Education

We focus on your health and well-being not only during your visits, but also by partnering with medical specialists within Cooley Dickinson and the Massachusetts General Hospital networks. For example, dietitians offer nutritional counseling through the Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Diabetes Center. A Mass General OB-GYN specializing in high-risk pregnancies consults with patients at Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Women’s Health.

CDH Breast Center-Now Open

The Breast Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital

The new Breast Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital provides a compassionate, patient-centered experience for everyone in need of breast care, at any stage of prevention or treatment. The newly opened, 6,000+-square foot facility combines and consolidates services including breast exams, screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, surgical biopsy and wire localization, and bone density screening. The breast center also provides a Clinical Coordinator who is dedicated to guiding patients through every step of screening, diagnosis and treatment.
