Emergency Care
In the case of a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit Cooley Dickinson’s Emergency Department at 30 Locust Street, Northampton, MA, 01060, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From the traffic light on Route 9, follow the signs to the Emergency Department. You will see a large red “Emergency” sign above the Emergency Department entrance. If you are having an emergency and cannot get to a hospital on your own or with someone’s help, dial 911.
Urgent Care
Walk-in service for non-life-threatening illness and injury for patients ages 18 months and up is available at any of our four Cooley Dickinson Urgent Care locations.
Primary or Specialty Care
If you do not have a primary care provider, we can help you find one! Call our Physician Referral Center at 413-582-2001. Otherwise, choose from the options below to schedule an appointment with a primary or specialty care provider:
- Option 1: Call your primary or specialty care practice office and schedule with them directly. Phone numbers can be found by looking them up in our Program and Services or Doctors and Providers menus.
- Option 2: Use Mass General Brigham’s virtual Patient Gateway on your computer or mobile device to request an in-person appointment, communicate with your doctor’s office, check lab and imaging results, view, update and renew medications, receive a summary of your visit and pay your doctor’s bill online. If you are not yet enrolled in Patient Gateway, click here to enroll or ask your provider for assistance at your next visit. A Patient Gateway App for iPhone or Android is also available.
